The Perfect Romantic Spot

Cozy Italian
DESCRIPTION: Our hostess/waitress seemed a bit snotty, but everyone else was very helpful and nice. The bread was great, the dishes were fresh and delicious (although I had salad, I tried my date's gnocci). The soup was very good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great... the only thing I didn't like about the atmosphere was the Italian music was too loud.

VEGAN Does not Fair Well at Reed's
DESCRIPTION: Don't go to Reed's if you are a true vegan because the only thing they have to offer is steamed vegetables. The vegetables are good, but they are paper thin cut and placed to appear to fill up a large plate. Ha ha - The total amounted to about a small hand full of vegetables - hardly enough for a rabbit little on a human being and of course the price was in keeping with the restaurant's prices - $9.95 - total rip off.

Overrated
DESCRIPTION: Ambiance was very nice, but the food took a really long time, was very salty and the service was far less than hospitable. Definitely not recommended with all the other restaurant in South Bay.

In Love
DESCRIPTION: I am absolutely ENAMORED with this restaraunt. I've been a vegetarian for nearly 2 years now and finding this place was such a wonderful surprise! Even my roommate, who practically subsists on meat alone, has loved every dish he's sampled from my visits to the House of Vege. I give it two green thumbs up!

Love and somewhat obsessed
DESCRIPTION: When Im in town visiting family and friends, I sometimes will eat at House of Vege twice a day! :) I still haven't tried every dish yet. The variety and the dedication to promoting real Chinese-vegetarian cuisine is impressive. For those who like just a tad bit of spice but not flaming hot, this is a great place for you!

Not what they say
DESCRIPTION: They claim to be a vegan restaurant and they are not. The restaurant has new owners and things have changed. They now have fortune cookies that contain egg yet still claim to be vegan. Manager stated that they couldn't find any vegan cookies yet stated the restaurant was vegan when I inquired. This makes me question if it is really even a vegetarian restaurant.
