Academic Success Coaches/Counselors (ASCs) guide students through academic difficulties and personal situations affecting their ability to reach their educational goals. ASCs work with students on Academic Probation to develop a plan toward successful academic and personal outcomes. As a part of the coaching process, ASCs will identify resources, implement interventions and review strategies to enable students to manage and overcome barriers to academic and personal success.

The College maintains a system for monitoring academic progress to identify those students experiencing academic difficulty. Students shall be placed on probation only after they have attempted 12 semester credits. An “APB” hold is placed on the student’s account. The student can see this in the “Action Items & Messages” tile on their SIS Dashboard. Students on academic probation are required to meet with an Academic Success Coach or Counselor for registration approval.

91³Ô¹Ï’s Academic Standing Policy is outlined in the Academic Policies and Information section of the college catalog.
